Signs Of The End Times - How do we know it's the end times

I have had some folks say 'oh, heck I have been told for years it's the end times' How do you know we are in the end times now ?'

The Bible clearly tells us when the end times will begin, and what signs will happen before the Lord Jesus returns (Rapture) before the 7 year tribulation begins.

Here is what the signs will be the Bible says, just before the lord returns to remove the believers (christians) before the horrible tribulation starts:

Constant wars and trouble with nations and countries:
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against against kingdom.

This has of course been going on for years, but like all the other signs of the end times, is increasing all the time. If it's not Iraq, we here of possible attacks against Taiwan from China, or North Korea even attacking the USA, and now there are troubles between major nations becuase of Iran's nuclear program. It will only get worse until a nuclear confrontation happens.

Earthquakes, famines and disease, fearful things happening:
There will be great Earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

Never in history has there been so many earthquakes, killer storms and more as there has been in this generation, and it's only going to get worse ! Now with the great earthquake and Tsunami (Tidal Wave) that occured on Dec 26 2004 - there is going to be great famine and pestilences in various places !

Strange things in the skies, the sun, and the earth (Tidal Waves):
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

In 2004 the Sun was more active then any other time in history, even astronomers and scientists were amazed at the solar activity. Solar flares are increasing all the time, and will only get worse, in fact one of the horrible things during the tribulation is that the Sun becomes so hot and violent (solar flares) that it's heat scorches parts of the earth ! This is beginning !

Lack of God in people:
There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without selfcontrol, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

This is happening at an alarming rate. You can't hardly even watch a TV show anymore without there being some homosexual or lesbian scene, some sexual act, or cussing. The same as most songs and things on radio. I myself refuse to pay for any movie channel, since to me they have movies that I refuse to watch, since it's filth. I mostly watch the news and learning channels, along with the church channel and a few others on TV, including PBS. In daily conversations at work, it's tough to get away from the filth and stupidity that goes on. If you mention Jesus you are an outcast, the room becomes quiet as others become confused or don't want to hear it, but yet, if you say a dirty joke or negative comment, others laugh or jump right in, and start adding on to the words of crap. It's about time that we start doing what we used to hear: If you don't have something good to say about someone, don't say anything !

The Gospel (Bible) will be preached throughout the whole world:
Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.

This is pretty awesome if you think about it, because it shows God's love for everyone, he is waiting to the Bible is preached throughout the whole world, before returning and starting the tribulation. Giving everyone a chance to turn to him for salvation ! With the radio this started happening, then once tv and satellite got going strong the bible was litteraly heard around the world, and now with the Interent it's reach provides the bibles message to even more of the world's population.

APOSTASY (Falling away from the truth - Going against what the bible says is right):
In the later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

This like all of the other end-time events is happening at a fast rate ! What does it mean whe the bible says: 'fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons' ? It is simple, It tells us that people will distort or twist what the Bible says, we will be told lies (the nature of demons according to the bible), and folks will turn away from what the Bible says and start doing and believing things that are wrong !

Technology for the 'Mark of the Beast' system:
Revelation 13:16-17 "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."


Never has a time in history occured when the Mark of the Beast system could come about, until NOW ! According to the bible this system will be worldwide and anyone who refuses to get it will NOT be able to buy or sell, or even live ! This clearly is some type of electronic commerce, a system where we may have gone cash-less, but one cannot be sure, anyway we all will recieve some type of mark (injection) that allows us to buy things with it, food, gasoline, pay our bills, and more (all transactions). Is such a technology available now ? YES ! And with the super computers we now have, everyone on the entire planet can be monitored almost instantly.

A company in Florida has already started marketing a computer chip the size of a grain of rice that is injected under a persons skin. On May 10, three members of a family in Florida became the first people to receive the biochip implant. Right now with this chip, a person can be tracked by satellite any place on the planet. Like On-Star in vehicles. Also the chip contains a persons medical records, and any other information that the wearer wants fed to it. The company says, the chip will soon have the ability for electronic buying ! All one has to do, is walk into a store and pass your hand or body part under a scanner that reads the chips info to buy and sell.

This technology is being marketed right now to governement officals, so they can be tracked in case of kidnappings. It is also being tested on older people who have alzheimer's disease, as well as some skilled nursing patients.

With terrorism and the possibility of terrorists entering any country, as well as illegal aliens, etc this device could rapidly become a useful tool, but in the wrong hands, it can easily be turned into a privacy nightmare ! Clearly the beginning of the 'Mark of the Beast !' system

There are more end time signs in the Bible, but no need to list them all here. All one has to do is watch the daily news, listen to peoples mouths in conversations, read the daily newspapers, and anyone can clearly see the signs on the end-times are here now ! But like the Bible says, many folks will still not repent (turn from their sins and accept Jesus) and will be doomed.
